The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech (mYSLm) is pleased to partner with the Spanish Consulate General in Marseille and with Granada/European Capital of Culture 2031, as part of the twinning of the cities of Granada and Marrakech and of the celebrations marking the centennial of the Jardin Majorelle.
On this occasion, the mYSLm will host, on Thursday, December 26 and Friday December 27, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., an exceptional conference and recital honoring Manuel de Falla and the Alhambra Gardens.
Hosted by the conductor Rafael Lamas and the renowned pianist José Luis de Miguel Ubago, the conference and recital will explore the underlying links between the depiction of gardens in the works of Claude Debussy, Manuel de Falla and the Tetouan composer Mustapha Aicha Rahmani. Their works for piano will enrich the conference, revealing cultural bridges and influences linking Morocco, Spain and France.
