The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech (mYSLm) is delighted to take part in the new chamber music season of the Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra. Following concerts in Rabat and Casablanca, the mYSLm will host the orchestra’s string quintet on November 24 at 7 p.m. The program will include the famous quintet for two violins, viola, cello and double bass (Op.163) and the Quartet in D major by the emblematic composer Franz Schubert.
Gibril Bennani and Yassine Benhissoune on violins, Abir Abassi on viola, Abdessamad Alassali on cello and Walid Drissi on double bass form the remarkable quintet that will enchant us with the melodic and harmonic mastery of the renowned Austrian composer Frank Schubert. For music lovers’ pleasure, they’ll share a palette of rich and varied emotions, moving easily between melancholy and dazzling joy.
In parallel with the Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra’s symphony season, the chamber music season will celebrate the talents of musicians performing in small groups. This offers the public the opportunity to discover unique artistic personalities within the orchestra through a repertoire rich in melodies and emotions.
